Taibah University is located in Medina, and had its creation by Royal Order stating the approval of the Council for Higher Education's decision to merge the universities of sub branch of (Imam Muhammad bin Saud Islamic University and the University of King Abdul Aziz) in Medina, has been designated by the university of that name in honor of one of the names that calling Medina "Tibah". Taibah University was founded in 1424, corresponding to 2003.
